Rob Faughnan, CFRE, serves as the Vice President of Asset Development and Donor Relations at Pikes Peak Community Foundation. In this role, Rob is responsible for driving the fulfillment of the foundation’s mission through asset growth, donor satisfaction, and community responsiveness. He leverages the abundant strengths and resources of PPCF to achieve success and capitalize on opportunities.
With two decades of nonprofit philanthropy experience, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge to this position. Most recently, he worked as a consultant for The Giving Collaborative, a full-service nonprofit consulting firm based in New Haven, CT, where he served clients such as nonprofit hospitals and private high schools. Prior to that, Rob held various positions on CommonSpirit Health’s National Philanthropy team, including VP of Philanthropy for their Texas Division, overseeing 16 hospitals in Houston and East Texas. He also served as the operations leader for the CHI National Foundation and directed major gifts and campaigns for the 130+ hospital system.
A native of Denver, Rob relocated to Colorado Springs with his family in 2008. He spent approximately 10 years as the fund development leader for the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Rob holds a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation and earned his Bachelor’s degree in English from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He also holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, their five children, and two Golden Doodles. The family loves skiing, hiking, camping, and spending quality time with friends and loved ones in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
